About Us

 Anjirlic B. Aminu is a Wellness Coach, her reflective journey inward begain after almost  having a nervous breakdown.  During her final semester of grad school, she realized she was going to have to make some serious changes, so she and her three children retreated to Costa Rica, for the summer and came back transformed.  Her healthy lifestyle consisted of releasing guilt, fear and regret, as well as eating and excersicing more healthy.  This lead to self acceptance, peace, love and abundance.  This new realization allowed her to gravitate toward people, events and situations that honored her highest good.  Slowly, she took ownership of her power and used it with her children, in her marriage, on her job, with strangers and most importantly with herself.  She began to say “Yes” to her highest good and “No” to things that did not honor her highest good.  During this transformation period she began daily yoga, daily meditation, positive affirmations, eating properly, reading and studying how to live a life that would honor the essence of who she is.  After a couple of years of withdrawing from her old negative ways (she calls this her cocoon stage) she discovered a new life.  As she blossomed, she began to experience peace & love, more abundantly.  Her new path was filled with pleasures and trials; however, she continues to welcome the lessons life brought her.  Her level of peace, self acceptance, love and trust enable her to show others how to take that deep journey inward also.  Her desire to help others, inspired A Wellness Association Inc.in 2003. After years of soul searching and demonstrating wellness techniques she has perfected wellness practice which includes Books, CD's s and her Wellness Program.  
     Ms. Aminu holds a Master's Degree in Vocational Education from the University of Georgia (UGA remains one of the top 5 schools in the nation for vocational education) and a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Kennesaw State University.  Ms. Aminu’s background also includes 20 years of experience in both the corporate and academic arena.  Her corporate experience includes working in management, sales, administration and event planning. Her academic experience includes teaching marketing, personal selling, advertising, international business, entrepreneurship and ESL. 

Ms. Aminu is the mother of three handsome young men two Professional Basketball Players Al-Farouq Aminu, of the New Orleans Hornets Left and Alade Aminu French Team, ELAN and one in the making.  They are her pride and joy.
